I grew up in the fifties, when black and white television ruled.
Ed Sullivan on Sunday nights, Howdy Doody (maybe in the afternoons, after school?), and two newspapers (one morning, one afternoon) that kept us updated on the news that wasn’t on t.v.
No CNN or MSNBC!
No cell phones, no internet, no video games.
I’m amazed by the world we live in these days, and I’m going to share some of my wonder with anyone who cares to read.
The past doesn’t interest me too much these days, because I’m fascinated by what’s happening now.
Aging Boomer Girl signing off, for now, from somewhere in the US.
